We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you!

• Measure and shape breads, loaves, and pastries
• Bake, and/or fry prepared items
• Place toppings, decorate pastries and breads

• Demonstrate proper techniques to new bakers & support staff
• Complete various reports such as production, usage, and waste

• Prepare all needed materials and ingredients
• Receive, stock, & store food in designated storage areas
• Clean, organize & maintain your workspace
• Support team members, where needed

NOTE:

This role typically requires early morning availability (shifts range from 2am/3am - 7am start times)

• Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Team player
• Available for early morning shifts
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
