This position is responsible for food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye‑appealing product within an allotted amount of time and perform related duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School/GED preferred
• Experience:
  
  90 days in a food service setting
• Certifications:
  
  Jefferson Food Handlers within 90 days of hire;
  Springfield Food Handlers within 90 days of hire

• Excellent integrity, takes initiative
• Good moral character
• Basic math skills, time management skills
• Great interpersonal skills

• All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer
• Ability to push, pull, and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds
