Furniture Store Apprentice

Overview

Kubin's Furniture is seeking an individual to join us. You will work as a team with other associates to learn every facet of our independent furniture store.

This is a physically demanding job. Perfect for a person that enjoys a daily workout.

Everyday is a new challenge, your responsibilities will change often.

• You will wait on customers, answer phones and learn the duties of our office and accounting procedures. You will help select, order and set up store displays.
• You will inspect and deliver furniture, assemble furniture, unload semi trucks, take furniture into and out of homes, maintain our delivery truck and facilities, remove snow, perform yard maintenance.
• You need to have an outgoing personality, be well groomed and articulate. You must have a good driving record and be able to manage time well. You need to be able to lift furniture without physical restrictions.
• You will have the opportunity for advancement, added responsibilities and additional pay if you are able to work in multiple capacities. If you are able to repair or learn to repair furniture, are willing to work as a maintenance person and have good mechanical abilities you will be able to maximize your income.

• Must be able to work Saturdays. We do not work on holidays.
• Must be vaccinated for Covid-19. All employees are vaccinated for Covid-19.

Salary: $13.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience or education. Compensation: $13.00 per hour. Kubin's offers competitive wages, employee discounts, flexible schedules, paid vacation, SIMPLE IRA retirement program. Must be able to work Saturdays.
