Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our retail store. In this role, you'll assist students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. Responsibilities include customer service, product demos, POS transactions, merchandising, and supporting store events. You'll help connect customers with quality instruments and education while working in a collaborative, student-focused environment that values music, community engagement, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, delivering high-quality, student-focused service
• Drive sales of instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons to meet store goals
• Operate POS system, handle cash and transactions accurately
• Support lesson scheduling and coordinate with instructors as needed
• Maintain merchandising standards and product displays
• Monitor and restock inventory on the sales floor
• Provide basic product demos and guidance on band and orchestra instruments
• Support in-store events, promotions, and community outreach activities
• Handle customer issues and returns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store performance targets
