Field Sales Account Executive – Matterport – Houston, TX
CoStar Group is a leading provider of commercial and residential real estate information and analytics. Matterport, a subsidiary, is a key part of its digital transformation services. The Field Sales Account Executive will sell Matterport’s spatial computing platform across AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality sectors.
Role DescriptionThe successful candidate will be performance‑driven, comfortable with technical content, and fluent in market trends to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. This role is based in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for the Matterport product offering.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of business and repeat opportunities.
- Accurately forecast weekly and monthly sales pipeline.
- Engage distributors, understand customer needs, and identify solutions.
- Attend sales meetings and prepare presentations as required.
- Represent the company at trade shows when necessary.
- Demonstrate product hardware/software to potential customers.
- Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses.
- Deliver sales and technical presentations via web and on‑site.
- Report sales progress and pipeline to Sales Manager.
- Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) for lead generation and business development.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of enterprise or mid‑market sales experience.
- Proven sales or business development track record.
- History of meeting revenue‑based quotas (SaaS, ARR).
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Experience with value‑based selling using ROI and MEDDPICC methodology.
- Ability to identify client pains and craft compelling value propositions.
- Strong relationship building in a team‑selling environment.
- Experience in real estate, insurance, restoration, construction, or travel industries.
- Prior experience with technology companies.
