Sales Representative

Job Description

Co-Operates as Sales Representative at Copeland, driving growth and building strong relationships with customers across the food, logistics, and technology industries. Responsible for growing an inherited book of business and finding new opportunities through cold outreach, working collaboratively with marketing, operations, and customer success teams.

• Initiate sales process by researching and qualifying leads.
• Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders.
• Facilitate demo presentations with industry suppliers and buyers.
• Regularly update CRM with lead and opportunity data to enable accurate forecasting and measurement of key objectives.
• Ensure account retention and maintenance.
• Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM, or related field.
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship will not be provided).

• 1–3 years of experience in food retail, logistics, or the software/technology industry.
• Experience working with  or a similar CRM system.
• Collaboration-first mindset.
• Hybrid work arrangement ability.

Hybrid eligible with a requirement to be in the office at least three days per week; traveling 2–4 times per year.

St. Louis, MO or Sidney, OH.
