Immunology Account Specialist - St. Louis

Overview

Immunology Account Specialist at Amplity (biopharma partner) is responsible for promoting biosimilar products to Immunology, Dermatology, Oncology Physician Offices and Integrated Hospital System accounts. This role supports growth for a valued client and provides opportunities for advancement and development within the team.

The Immunology Account Specialist will promote biosimilar products to targeted physician offices and integrated health systems, with responsibilities aligned to client-facing roles and territory objectives.

• Achieve territory sales expectations for promoted biosimilar products
• Maintain company and client employee compliance policies and procedures
• Identify and build relationships with key decision makers and health care providers
• Collaborate frequently with Client’s customer-facing roles

• Promote biosimilar products to Immunology, Dermatology, Oncology physician offices, and integrated health systems
• Launch new products in complex integrated health systems
• Develop and implement business plans aligned to Client’s customer-facing roles
• Work collaboratively with account team members in hospital and physician-owned infusion centers
• Engage decision makers, shorten buying cycles, and generate new orders
• Implement national strategies and programs

• Report to Associate Director, Area Manager
• Collaborate with Client’s customer-facing roles
• Maintain positive working relationships with health care customers and client contacts

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years of biopharmaceutical sales or relevant healthcare sales or services (e.g., medical device sales, infusion services, Health IT, health system networks)
• Credentials verification may be required, including vaccination status, to ensure patient and colleague safety

• 3+ years of specialty sales experience selling biologics (Immunology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Oncology)
• Experience with specialty pharmacy products, buy-and-bill, and B2B selling models
• Complex account and territory management experience
• Experience collaborating with multiple customer-facing roles
• Experience in hospital environments, infusion centers, and specialty pharmacy
• Knowledge of billing codes, reimbursement, medical benefits, and managed care dynamics
• Understanding verification of benefits for patient coverage
• Experience working with Medicare Part B (preferred)
• Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy
• Ability to drive utilization of infused products in complex integrated health care systems

• Intellectual curiosity and effective selling skills, including probing questions
• Ethical and compliant work in a regulated industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Successful completion of client training as required
• Willingness and ability to travel within the territory (including overnight/weekend)
• Travel to work-related meetings and functions (including overnight/weekend)
• Ability to obtain and maintain required credentials and licenses as required by facilities and jurisdictions
