Sales Representative, Major Accounts

In this role, you will sell human resources technology within a designated geographic territory to cultivate new business opportunities and drive strategic discussions around Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives for companies with 50‑999 employees. You will manage complete sales cycles, sell ADP's suite of solutions (40+ products and services) to executives, and accurately forecast your sales pipeline. ADP provides continuous sales training and the latest technology to set you up for success as you manage your book of business.

You'll spend most of your time selling in the field, documenting and managing multiple sales cycles, and staying with the process through implementation until the new business is up and running. As deals close, you earn industry‑leading compensation, benefits, luxurious incentive trips, and awards. Leaders support your desire to pursue advancement and maintain continual sales training.

What You’ll Do
  • Grow our business while expanding your own career by collaborating across teams and territories to close sales and achieve goals.
  • Turn prospects into loyal clients and enthusiastic advocates by implementing a targeted sales strategy for decision‑makers and business owners.
  • Deepen relationships across the ADP family, cultivating additional business within existing accounts while building lasting alliances.
  • Collaborate daily as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the broader network.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
  • Positive self‑starter with an upbeat, persistent style, capable of cold calling, time‑management, and clear professional communication.
  • Confidence to embrace opportunities, take risks, and challenge the status quo.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, natural leadership, resourcefulness, and resilience under pressure.
  • Trusted advisor who builds relationships, upholds integrity, and delivers on promises consistently.
Required Experience
  • Two or more years of quota‑carrying, outside B2B sales experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in HCM, technology, business equipment, uniform, or software sales.
  • Military experience with teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust‑building, and a “never lose” mentality that translates to client success.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
