AIR is preparing to launch an exciting new product category in the U.S. market and is seeking entrepreneurial Territory Sales Representatives to join our founding field sales team.
This is not an account management role. There is no existing book of business.
You will be responsible for introducing a new product to retailers, opening new accounts, securing placement, executing in-store activation, and building sales momentum across your territory. Every new customer, every new door, and every success story will be yours to create.
This is an opportunity to be part of a high-profile market launch, working directly with commercial leadership to build a brand from the ground up.
As we continue to expand nationally, top-performing members of the launch team will be well-positioned for future leadership opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities Territory Development & Sales Execution- Own sales performance and distribution growth within your assigned territory.
- Execute a structured weekly store visit plan across convenience stores, gas stations, smoke shops, vape retailers, and other relevant channels.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on maximizing distribution and sales growth.
- Secure new retail placements and expand points of distribution.
- Install and maintain point-of-sale materials and merchandising assets.
- Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and retail staff.
- Ensure pricing, promotional execution, and product visibility standards are maintained.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to retail partners.
- Educate retailers on category trends, product positioning, and profit opportunities.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance.
- Train retail staff on product features and benefits.
- Support local activation and promotional initiatives.
- Prioritize and manage accounts using CRM tools and sales data.
- Track distribution gains, sales velocity, and account performance.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends.
- Partner closely with distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in field sales, territory management, retail execution, or field marketing.
- Experience with in tobacco, nicotine, convenience, beverage, DSD, CPG, or related industries preferred.
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and account development skills.
- Ability to leverage data and insights to identify opportunities and drive results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.
- Ability to work in the field five days per week.
- Direct experience in tobacco, nicotine, vape, or convenience retail channels.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho, or similar tools.
- Experience launching new products, brands, or territories.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
