Team members collaborate across disciplines to help clients maximize engagement and trade show program performance.
The Account Executive – St. Louis is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Louis, MO, responsible for managing and growing client relationships within the trade show and events industry. This role involves prospecting and developing new business opportunities, conducting client meetings, and presenting customized exhibit and event solutions that align with client goals and budgets. The Account Executive will coordinate with internal design, production, and operations teams to develop proposals, manage timelines, and oversee project execution from initial concept through post-show review.
Day-to-day activities include preparing estimates, monitoring project progress, resolving client concerns, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention. The role also includes ongoing market research, participation in industry events, and consistent sales reporting to support business growth targets.
- Manage and grow client relationships within the trade show and events industry.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities; conduct client meetings and present customized exhibit and event solutions that align with client goals and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal design, production, and operations teams to develop proposals, manage timelines, and oversee project execution from concept through post-show follow-up.
- Prepare estimates, monitor project progress, resolve client concerns, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct ongoing market research and participate in industry events.
- Provide regular sales reporting to support business growth targets.
- Demonstrated ability in account management and client relationship building, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and ongoing client communication.
- Experience in consultative sales, business development, and solution selling within exhibits, events, marketing, or a related industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and logistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Working knowledge of trade show, experiential marketing, or event management practices is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with common business software tools (e.g., CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or similar applications).
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
