Intramotev is seeking an experienced Manager of Business Development / Commercial with a focus on international markets. This position will play a key role in helping Intramotev meet its future volume goals by designing and executing an international go-to-market approach.
A successful candidate will have deep experience in managing agents or consultants in international markets with a track record of success in new market entry.
Position Responsibilities- Design and execute strategies for entering new international markets
- Identify, vet, engage, and manage in-market agents and consultants in key international markets
- Secure international customers directly, through agents, or through joint ventures and partnerships
- Represent Intramotev at conferences, within industry organizations, and at customer events
- Work across Intramotev to communicate customer and industry feedback to Engineering and Design teams
- Ability to build and maintain a strong relationships network at executive, senior, and mid-levels of international railroads, mining companies, and other heavy industrial users of rail internationally
- Ability to learn railroad operations, use cases, and networks
- Ability to understand and convey technically complex product benefits and value propositions in simple terms
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time including internationally
- Self-starter willing to operate independently with autonomy as well as across-functionally in small teams
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with international rail regulatory agencies and frameworks
Education and Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree and typically 5-7 or more years of related work experience.
Working locationThis position is in-person and based out of Intramotev’s HQ in St. Louis, MO, US with extensive travel.
