As a Personal Banker at our Creve Coeur location, you will be the face of the Commerce Bank brand—providing personalized, goal‑oriented service to customers while helping the bank achieve its sales and service objectives. The role requires strong sales skills, excellent customer experience, and transactional accuracy.

• Receive the tools, resources, and training needed to be successful and to advance your career with Commerce Bank.

• Deliver an excellent customer experience both in‑person and over the phone.

• Actively listen to customers, uncover financial needs, and recommend solutions that match those needs.

• Educate customers on retail products and digital solutions that promote financial wellness.

• Execute financial transactions accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with policies and regulations.

• Build relationships with internal departments and refer customers to specialists when needed.

• Earn additional compensation through a quarterly incentive program.

Monday – Friday: 8:15AM – 5:15PM
Saturday: 8:45AM – 12:15PM

• Interact with customers in person and by phone to meet their financial needs through needs‑based conversations and sales fulfillment.
• Listen, understand, and make product and service recommendations to achieve individual and team sales and service goals.
• Educate customers on retail products and digital solutions that enhance the experience and support sales goals.
• Complete financial transactions accurately and efficiently; comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify complex financial needs and refer customers to bank specialists when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong sales skills and an ability to provide an excellent customer experience via in‑person and phone interactions.
• Ability to meet personal and branch sales and customer service expectations.
• Motivated, organized self‑starter with strong attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptable to diverse situations with an optimistic outlook aligned with our culture and core values.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year(s) of sales or customer service experience.
• Experience in an environment with individual and team sales goals preferred.
• Position may be filled as a Personal BankerI or II, depending on experience and education.

A reasonable estimate of the base pay is $20.55 to $25.05 per hour; the role also offers additional compensation through a performance‑based incentive plan aligned with meeting performance goals. The range estimate does not account for geographical, bilingual, or shift differentials.
