Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist | 🚪 Unlocking Top Talent for the Smart Building Revolution- Base salary: $40,000–$50,000 (commensurate with experience)
- OTE: $70,000+ (uncapped) and a clear path to higher earning potential as you grow within the sales organization
What is the purpose of this role?
The purpose of this role is to be the first point of contact for prospective customers, creating a positive and professional impression of DOOR while uncovering needs, qualifying interest, and ensuring smooth handoffs to Account Executives. By combining proactive outreach, quick inbound response, and strong collaboration with Sales and Marketing, the role builds a reliable pipeline and contributes to overall revenue growth.

As a BDR, you will generate qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. You will prospect into property managers, owners, and operators, start thoughtful conversations, and connect their needs to DOOR’s outcomes. This is a launch point for a sales career with hands-on training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths.

What will you do?
- Outbound prospecting: Identify and research target accounts in our ICP and reach the right stakeholders.
- High-quality outreach: Run daily call blocks and send concise, relevant emails and Linked In touches. Activity matters, quality is essential.
- Inbound assist and SLAs: Help cover inbound leads with quick response during business hours, and next-business-day follow-up for after-hours submissions.
- Discovery and qualification: Ask smart questions, confirm fit, and capture buying roles and decision criteria.
- Book meetings that hold: Set qualified meetings for AEs and deliver clean, useful handoffs.
- Educate and add value: Share short, helpful context about industry challenges and how DOOR helps teams work smarter.
- CRM discipline: Log clear notes, next steps, and required fields in Salesforce to support accurate reporting.
- Collaborate: Partner with AEs and Marketing on messaging, campaigns, and feedback loops.
What success looks like
- Speed to lead: Same business-day touch on inbound, with a clear next step documented.
- Meetings held, not just set: Consistent show rates with agendas and stakeholders confirmed.
- AE acceptance: Handoffs that AEs accept because context, objectives, and next steps are clear.
- Data hygiene: Complete Salesforce notes and fields that make reporting reliable.
- Professional presence: Warm, confident phone and email style that reflects DOOR’s premium brand.

Qualifications
- 0–2 years of professional experience; internships, customer service, or sales experience are a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools preferred; Salesforce is a plus.
