The Area Sales Manager role at ELANTAS is a full-time. In this role, the individual develops and manages sales plans for a defined territory, builds and maintains relationships with existing and prospective customers, and identifies new business opportunities in key market segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customers, presenting product solutions, preparing quotations, and negotiating contracts in line with company guidelines. The Area Sales Manager collaborates closely with technical, product management, and customer service teams to ensure high-quality support and satisfaction.
The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Demonstrated skills in territory management, account management, and customer relationship building.
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial materials, chemicals, electrical insulation, or related technical markets.
- Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into value-based solutions for customers.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, MS Office, and basic data analysis tools to track opportunities and sales performance.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet sales targets within assigned deadlines.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the territory for customer visits, events, and internal meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a global or multi-site organization and familiarity with sustainable or energy-related technologies is beneficial.
