Solar Consultant

Lotus Solar LLC is looking for a proven solar closer who wants more than another commission-only seat. This is an opportunity for someone who can run qualified appointments, close business the right way, and help build the sales organization as the company grows.

Lotus Solar is a licensed and insured, Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) serving residential and commercial solar customers. We are building an operation where sales, scheduling, field work, and customer handoff work together. We are not looking for somebody to chase every lead alone or carry a title without producing. We want a closer first and a leader second: somebody who can win the right way, protect the customer experience, and help us build a better sales machine.

What the role looks like - You will conduct in-home and virtual solar consultations, present clear proposals, follow up professionally, and guide homeowners from initial conversation through a clean signed agreement and operations handoff. You will keep your CRM notes current, collect required utility and site information, and make sure the field team receives a complete project package.

As you prove your ability to close professionally and protect margin, you will receive priority access to Lotus Solar’s strongest qualified appointments. Our appointment setter is currently producing 3–15 qualified appointments per week

The right leader will help us improve lead quality, sales training, close rate, and the system we use to grow the team. What we are looking for

A proven closer with at least two years of solar sales or high-ticket in-home closing experience. A real track record: be ready to discuss your recent production, close rate, average deal size, markets served, and how you sell with integrity.

Strong presentation, listening, follow-up, and objection-handling skills.The discipline to keep CRM notes clean and hand complete, buildable deals to operations.

Someone who wants to be a player-coach: close today, improve the process, and eventually help recruit and train the next group of reps.A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within assigned service territories.

You will complete product and process onboarding, run a limited set of qualified appointments, demonstrate clean CRM and handoff discipline, and prove a professional close rate with no avoidable cancellations or margin issues.
