The National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRAE) is a public research institution that brings together a community of 12,000 people, with 272 research, service, and experimental units, located in 18 centers throughout France. INRAE is among the top global leaders in agricultural and food sciences, plant and animal sciences. Its research aims to build solutions for multi-performance agriculture, quality food, and sustainable management of resources and ecosystems.

You will be welcomed to the Human Nutrition Unit (UNH) and will work on the animation and communication of the CALIS research infrastructure, directed by Dominique Dardevet (Research Director at UNH) and co-directed by Catherine Bonazzi (Research Director at the Say Food Mixed Research Unit).

INRAE supports and coordinates a research infrastructure named CALIS (Consumers-Food-Health) that structures and federates at the national level access to labeled platforms and experimental devices for transdisciplinary research on the interactions between food, health, and sustainability. This infrastructure integrates the entire value chain from agricultural raw materials and their transformation into foods to their effects on human health, taking into account the choices and preferences of consumers.

It has been included since 2021 on the national roadmap for research infrastructures.

This position is part of the renewal of this infrastructure to provide support for the implementation of a new governance and communication tools for various audiences.

You will be particularly in charge of supporting the functioning and communication.

You will support the CALIS management, ensuring the functioning of the infrastructure and notably the implementation of a new governance:

• Organization and follow-up of monthly executive bureau and steering committee meetings;
  • Organization of an annual General Assembly of platform managers;
  • Follow-up of the finalization and sending of a consortium agreement and organization of a meeting of the boards;
  • Implementation and coordination of a collective reflection on the need for data and the form that a data workflow could take at the scale of the IR.

Communication will play an important role in your activities. In particular, in connection with the CALIS and platform managers:

• Updating and editing CALIS website content;
  • Creating a Linked In channel, as well as proposing and developing different communication materials (for researchers, potential partners, etc.)

Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac+3/5) Recommended education: Bac+5.

Desired knowledge: Project management and/or communication. Experience around food or in research would be a plus.

Experience preferred: Experience in research infrastructures, as well as a good command of English.

Skills sought: Autonomy, rigor, good interpersonal skills, and an interest in communication.
