Analytical Chemist

We have an opening for an Analytical Chemist at the Analyst level:

Perform hands-on laboratory work with limited supervision

Interpret analytical data from a variety of techniques (including FT-IR, NMR, GC-MS and/or LC-MS)

Write basic reports which includes methodology, conclusions and supporting analytical data

Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment under firm deadlines

Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines

Maintain analytical instrumentation and troubleshoot problems when necessary

Author standard operating procedures and demonstrate the ability to follow procedures

Collaborate effectively in a team environment

Education:

B.S. in Chemistry with good understanding of theory and related techniques and related operations is required.

Experience with MS 365 (e.g., Word, Excel) and basic computer systems

Experience:

1-2 years of industrial experience preferred but not required

Knowledge with sample preparation and data interpretation. Direct experience with chromatography techniques (e.g., GC/FID, GC/MS, HPLC/UV) is preferred.

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
