Analytical Chemist

Job Description

We have an opening for an Analytical Chemist at the Analyst level:

• Perform hands‑on laboratory work with limited supervision
• Interpret analytical data from a variety of techniques (including FT‑IR, NMR, GC‑MS and/or LC‑MS)
• Write basic reports which includes methodology, conclusions and supporting analytical data
• Comfortable working within a fast‑paced environment under firm deadlines
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Maintain analytical instrumentation and troubleshoot problems when necessary
• Author standard operating procedures and demonstrate the ability to follow procedures
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment

• B.S. in Chemistry with good understanding of theory and related techniques and operations is required.
• Experience with MS 365 (e.g., Word, Excel) and basic computer systems.

• 1–2 years of industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge with sample preparation and data interpretation. Direct experience with chromatography techniques (e.g., GC/FID, GC/MS, HPLC/UV) is preferred.

Position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
