Allied Universal - Up to $17.51/hour - - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to campus staff, students, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and fire and/or intrusion alarms; request assistance from public responders as needed.;
Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarm panels, and visitor logs; report unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.;
Complete detailed reports and shift logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or incoming officers, and support campus events with security-related presence and direction as assigned.
