Unarmed Security Officer - Mobile Patrol / Asset Protection
Hours Per Week: Full-Time - 33 Hours
Location: Earth City, MO - weekend mobile patrol, St. Louis, MO - weekday retail asset protection
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Monday and Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
This position is split between two different assignments each week. Weekends are spent covering patrols at a commercial property in Earth City. Mondays and Tuesdays are inside a retail store in St. Louis, handling asset protection duties. Total hours are 33 per week.
On Patrol Days: Most of the shift is spent moving around the property and checking that things are secure.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving the lot and surrounding areas
- Walking exterior sections when something needs a closer look
- Checking doors and gates during each round
- Making notes of anything unusual and completing a report before leaving
Retail shifts are different. The focus is visibility and awareness inside the store. Responsibilities during those days include:
- Remaining present on the sales floor
- Watching for theft, safety concerns, or policy issues
- Documenting incidents as they occur
- Updating store management if something needs attention
You will need reliable transportation and the ability to work the posted schedule consistently. This role requires someone comfortable working alone during patrol coverage but also able to communicate clearly in a retail environment.
Minimum Requirements- Active Metro Unarmed Guard Card Preffered
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to write clear reports
- Steady attendance
A Metro Unarmed Guard Card is preferred. If you do not currently have one, you must be able to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Training and uniforms are provided. The weekly schedule remains consistent for this assignment.
