Our Campus Safety Division partners with schools to provide a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for students, staff, and visitors.

We are seeking a professional and dependable full-time Campus Security Officer to support a school campus in the St. Louis, MO area. This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 6:30am-3pm. The role goes beyond traditional security—Campus Security Officers are trusted members of the school community who help foster a safe, positive, and supportive campus environment. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, approachable, observant, and comfortable working with students, staff, and families on a daily basis.

• Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Serve as a visible and approachable presence throughout campus
• Respond to campus incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
• Monitor student behavior and help enforce school policies and procedures
• Conduct routine patrols and safety inspections of campus grounds and facilities
• Assist with traffic flow, parking, and visitor access
• Write detailed incident reports and document security-related activity
• Support school administration with safety and security needs as requested
• Assist with campus investigations, including reviewing camera footage and gathering information
• Help ensure campus buildings and facilities are properly secured
• Build positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and local law enforcement

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Experience working with children or students preferred
  
  Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and in dynamic environments
• Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
• Must have an active/current Guard Card License
• Must be able to read and write English fluently

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform routine patrols across campus grounds
