Security Officer Part Time

Position: Security Officer  Part Time
Location: St. Louis

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an educational location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or local responders as appropriate;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions requiring attention;
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, report suspicious behavior, and follow established security-related policies and post orders;
Assist with routine security-related functions such as observing campus activity, providing directions, reporting maintenance or environmental concerns, and supporting a professional presence throughout the location
