Surveillance Security - Operations Officer

As a Security Ambassador – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Set schedule:
  Full-time, Wednesday through Thursday 3rd shift 11p.m. to 7a.m. and Friday through Saturday 3rd shift 11p.m. to 11a.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $21 per hour based on experience (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)
• You must have 3-5 years experience in security operations centers or in travel risk programs

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
  
  Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• You will work in a centrally managed, 24x7 team that monitors alarms, access control and camera platforms
• You will monitor and triage incoming communication streams
• You will be a critical first point of contact for security and safety related incidents around the globe.
• You will monitor world events that could impact our employees and assets
• You will use established procedures and protocols to respond to incidents and alarms

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security Operations or GSOC experience – even better!
• You have strong computer skills
• You can quickly learn various software tools
• You are great at multitasking
• You have strong customer service skills
• You have a state license if required
