Security Officer Part Time Patrol Scout – Saint Louis, MO
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM;
Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry‑related protocols, and communicate with residents, guests, and/or property management regarding security-related concerns.
- Support residential property operations by observing conditions at the location, reporting maintenance or life-related hazards, and following post orders for after‑hours activity and resident assistance requests.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
