Asset Protection Investigator

Job Overview

As an Asset Protection Investigator, you will work as a member of the Asset Protection team to prevent losses from external and internal theft and fraud, on‑site in our Distribution Center, and report to the Asset Protection Manager.

• Maintain the general safety of customers, employees, and the store
• Assess and help with emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance activities to identify indicators for internal or external theft, and fraud
• Conduct external and internal investigations, documenting all incidents properly
• Prepare and complete reports for theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
• Reduce and control loss of inventory through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

• 1+ years of experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection
• Customer-focused mindset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic proficiency with computer software
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond quickly to changing directions or unexpected situations
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on store needs

Hourly rate: $21.53 - $26.91 per hour, based on market, experience and other qualifications.
