Public Safety Officer ; Nights

Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy's coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promote and practice fire and safety prevention. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma; 18 years of age or older.
• Licensure:
  Valid State driver’s license and valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure required within 90 days of hire.
• Certification/Registration:
  Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (may be done as part of licensure). Federal, State, and Municipal licensure allowable time frames take precedence over internal IAHSS certification time frames.
• Other Skills & Knowledge:
  Ability to read and write the English language.

• Education:
  
  College degree.
• Licensure:
  Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
• Experience:
  
  Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience.
• Other Skills & Knowledge: N/A.
