Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Saint Louis, MO – As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour
Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM;
Sun 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and processing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Support access control, vehicle inspections, and incident reporting responsibilities while remaining prepared to respond to medical, fire, and other emergency situations based on post orders and location requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Will undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Will undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Will participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
- Driver’s license required for driving positions only.
