** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Maintain required reports and documentation for patrols, incidents, inspections, and other security-related activities.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
