Vehicle Upfitting Installation Technician - O'Fallon, MO

Job Summary

Installation Mechanic – St. Louis, Missouri. Pay: $22 per hour (piece rate). Shift: Monday–Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Must provide basic hand and power tools.

• Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints.
• Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Test installed parts prior to final inspection.
• Verify all line items have been completed on the work order.
• Communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.

• Vehicle electrical/wiring experience required.
• 1–3 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience OR current enrollment in an accredited technical school.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Understand electrical schematics and 12 V circuits.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Work in multiple environments – shop, outdoor weather, and office.
• Adhere to company standards: SOPs, attendance, quality, teamwork, performance.
• Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check.
