Major Job Duties
This key role requires a skilled and licensed Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems at water and wastewater treatment facilities throughout Missouri.
Primary Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems at water and wastewater treatment plants
- Wire and connect motors, pumps, control panels, and instrumentation systems
- Support equipment installations and plant upgrades
- Assist with electrical components of capital improvement projects
- Diagnoses and repair electrical failures to minimize operational downtime
- Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes
- Travel throughout Missouri to support multiple facility locations as needed
- Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly

- Attention to Detail – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task from the beginning to the end of the project/task

- Must be a licensed electrician in the state of Missouri
- Experience in industrial or utility electrical work required (water/wastewater experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Understanding of general construction practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within Missouri
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 75 pounds
- Exposure to potential hazards such as chemicals, fumes, and odors
- Will work in confined spaces
- Willingness to be on call in emergency situations
