Warehouse Associate Laminate Division - Houston

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end‑products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL – we do business as: Olathe Millworks, Warren Brother Sash & Door, River City Millworks respectfully.)

Position: We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate in our Laminate division! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders.

Your Day-to-Day: to crush it in our warehouse, you'll need to:

  • Rolling laminate daily for will calls and next day shipments.
  • Checking in and restocking laminate bins daily.
  • Checking in and stocking products in that area (edgetape,veneers,adhesive,sinks etc.)
  • Offload trucks with materials from our vendor and load trucks with product to ship to our customers.
  • Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification is a plus!
  • Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders.
  • Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
  • Lift extremely heavy, awkward products (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.
