Role

As a Carpenter, you'll help build high-quality construction projects by performing skilled carpentry work, maintaining a safe jobsite, and contributing to the successful completion of each project.

What You'll Do
  • Construct and install formwork for concrete placement.
  • Erect temporary handrails, barriers, and other jobsite safety systems.
  • Read layouts and accurately measure, mark, and prepare materials.
  • Perform carpentry tasks including sawing, cutting, drilling, nailing, burning, stripping forms, tightening and loosening bolts, and other related activities.
  • Complete general carpentry work such as framing, hanging doors, blocking, and finish work as assigned.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and solve jobsite challenges while working collaboratively with the project team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.

Experience, Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma
  • Member of the Carpenters Union
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • OSHA 10 hour card
  • Understanding of safety, quality, and production
  • Work is performed primarily on active construction jobsites in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods.
  • Safely climb ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated work surfaces.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
  • Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform essential job duties
