Grain Elevator Laborer – St. Louis, MO

As a Grain Elevator Laborer you will be part of a team that works hands‑on to support the safe, efficient operations of a grain handling facility.

• Maintain a clean work environment, shoveling grain spills, sweeping floors, brushing down equipment, machinery, and workstations using brooms, shovels, vacuum, and hand tools.
• Facilitate the moving, coupling, and unloading of rail cars in a safe and orderly manner.
• Position gates or spouts to direct flow of grain from conveyors to storage silos.
• Control flow of grain by opening gates, chutes, or hoppers.
• Operate power tools including electrical/cordless/pneumatic devices.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Ability to work on your own without direct supervision.
• Must be capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Safely perform duties on ladders, platforms, or scaffolding.
• Able to work in a processing/milling environment and adverse conditions (height, dust, noise, limited exposure to chemicals and pesticides).
• Completion of safety courses such as confined spaces.
