Job Title

The municipality of Courpière is looking for a road maintenance agent to strengthen its team.

Tasks will include:

• Driving and maneuvering vehicles on public roads, at construction sites, or on communal paths.
• Performing road maintenance tasks (snow removal, clearing brush…).
• Emergency interventions.
• Maintaining vertical and horizontal road signs.
• Repairing, removing, and installing urban furniture.
• Performing maintenance work.
• Repairing the road.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Road and road maintenance code
• Safety rules on construction sites and protective signage
• Driving permits for vehicles and machinery
• Knowledge of the material and machinery used
• Understanding of road construction
• Techniques for laying road elements, underground works, masonry, painting, and marking on the ground, and using products
• Construction site signage on the road

SKILLS:

• Precisely maneuvering machinery
• Adhering to safety and traffic rules
• Setting up temporary signage during construction
• Ability to work in a team
• Performing repairs and troubleshooting
• Carrying out routine maintenance work on roads and road equipment
• Performing maintenance work on roadside areas
