Job description:

Low-Voltage Installation Technician

• Trustworthy, hungry to learn and grow; hands‑on and loves being in the field rather than behind a desk.
• Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

• Experience on construction sites; ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use both power tools and hand tools.
• A steady work history (at least 3 years between jobs) and a pleasant disposition.
• High EQ.

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

• Hours per week: 40 hours, 4x10 schedule most weeks.

• Spencer

• Pull, terminate, and test low‑voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading).
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Basic set‑up and configuration of devices.
• Basic understanding of networks.

• AV Installation (Residential & Commercial)
• Security Installation
• Low‑Voltage Cable Pulling
• Managed Services (MSP) – if you can install!
• Electrician (HV or LV)

• Salary: $22/hr – $28/hr.
• Simple IRA with 3% match after Year 1.
• PTO – 5 days after Year 1, 11 days after Year 2, 16 days after Year 5.
• 6 Paid Holidays.
