MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Full Time Park 44, St Louis, MO, US

Salary Range: $21.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Location: Vanguard Crossing Apartments;
Clayton, MO

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday;
Weekend availability and on-call rotation required.

Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $25.00, based on experience; $150 weekly on-call bonus

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 – 3 years of residential property maintenance or related field
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints and manuals
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., frequent walking, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
  • HVAC certification, CPO license, and/or CAMT designation a plus
  • Basic computer skills for logging and tracking work orders

Park 44 Apartments is looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our community continues to be a place residents are proud to call home.

In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the property is beautiful, well-maintained, and operating smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform general appliance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
  • Complete apartment turns and make-readies
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Promptly respond to service requests using our paperless system
  • Maintain maintenance records and manage inventory
  • Perform general carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and collaborate with vendors as needed
  • Handle grounds care; assist with snow removal when necessary
