Location: St. Louis

The Natural Color expansion is here. Sensient is growing – A LOT! We are adding an Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician you will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, as well as control panels. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.

What You’ll Do:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components and systems for industrial equipment and building support.
  • Work in a team environment or alone to complete assignments. Observe safety procedures and meet all electrical codes.
  • Understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or P&IDs.
  • Perform quality testing and inspections. Perform preventative maintenance and instrument calibrations.
  • Perform a variety of other duties related to the maintenance department needs assigned by the Maintenance supervisor.
  • Be involved in power source installation from distribution centers and motor control centers.
What You’ll Bring :
  • Be motivated to work on their own and as part of a team. Effective communication skills are a necessary part of this position.
  • Ability to work a physically demanding job. Ability to install and repair equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred.
  • Journeyman experience preferred or the completion of an apprenticeship program.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Verbal and written communication skills required. Motivated initiative-taker who can manage projects and make decisions.
