Service Technician I (Oil Dept.)

Location:

The RT Depot, Hazelwood, MO.

Schedule:

Wednesday – Saturday (4x10s), 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

• Base pay: $28.00 per hour.
• Shift differential:
  Additional $2.00 per hour for night and weekend shifts.
• Quarterly bonus opportunity: up to $1,000 per quarter ($4,000 annual potential).

• Install and service our advanced oil management equipment at new and existing customer locations.
• Provide training to customers and troubleshoot issues to ensure product performance meets expectations.
• Maintain equipment for first‑time right performance, adhere to 5S standards and other operational goals.
• Comply with internal procedures and all local/federal regulations (DOT, OSHA, HACCP).
• Manage parts and supplies in service vehicles, keep accurate documentation, and communicate with customers as needed.
• Use iPhone apps for parts ordering, customer notes, clocking and other functions.
• Perform night installation work as required by customer demand.

• Minimum 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment and solve customer installation/service problems.
• Basic mechanical and/or electrical skills.
• Strong customer focus and ability to handle challenging situations positively.
• Maintain a clean driving record to meet Fleet Safety requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20 ft.
• Preferred:
  Vocational training in a relevant field.
