Position Title:
Industrial Maintenance Technician Salary: $66,560.00-$87,360.00/year
Shift: 1st
Hours:
6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (4x10s), OT on Fridays
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations in a growing manufacturing environment in St. Louis, MO. This role focuses on hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity for a maintenance professional looking to expand their skills and grow with the organization.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
- Replace and repair components such as sensors, motors, switches, valves, belts, bearings, and conveyors
- Support production by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and equipment adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot CNC machines and stamping equipment to identify root causes of issues and coordinate with OEM technical support when advanced diagnostics are required
- Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability
- Maintain compressed air systems, facility utilities, lighting, and other building support equipment
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Safely operate forklifts, lifts, and other maintenance equipment
- Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs in the maintenance tracking system
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, agricultural equipment, or military mechanical maintenance experience
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including sensors, motors, switches, and control circuits
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Preferred technical training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, or a related field
- Preferred experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred familiarity with CNC machines, stamping presses, or automated production equipment
- Preferred welding and fabrication experience
- Preferred forklift certification or experience operating industrial equipment
