Journeyman Electric Line Worker

Here is what you will be doing:provides specialized technical services for construction, operation and maintenance of the utility's electrical distribution system.

Work on energized 5 kv, 15 kv, and 34.5 kv overhead and underground distribution lines. Our ideal candidate has:a high school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary specialized training of not less than two years; specialized courses to meet this requirement include: electricity or electronics and lineman's training courses. Must have a minimum of four years of progressively more responsible experience in work closely related to the work of this position.

Previous 15 kv gloving experience. A valid class a commercial drivers' license (cdl). Must hold a journeyman lineman card or equivalent journeyman experience. Our working environment:indoor and outdoor working environment. Outdoor environment included being subjected to hazards from working in an environment of extreme weather conditions. Individual to work forty (40) hours a week, monday through friday, 7:00 a.m. To 3:30 p.m. Perform maintenance scheduled and unscheduled overtime (must be available).
