Maintenance Technician
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a multi-family residential community in St. Louis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, and helping keep buildings, equipment, and apartment homes operating at their best.
If you have experience with maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general repairs and enjoy a variety of responsibilities throughout the day, this could be an excellent opportunity.
What You'll Do- Complete service requests and repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Repair and maintain flooring, drywall, cabinetry, tile, locks, and other building components
- Assist with apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents
- Complete inspections and make-ready checklists for vacant apartments
- Coordinate with vendors when needed
- Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the property and grounds
- Respond to after-hours emergencies during scheduled on-call rotations
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards
- Previous maintenance experience in a residential, commercial, or similar environment
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
- Experience working with household and commercial appliances
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to provide and safely use basic maintenance tools
