American Equipment HR LLC (AmQuip Crane Rental) seeks an experienced Maintenance Crane Service Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mobile and overhead cranes for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients. In this safety-focused, team-driven role, you'll perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and load testing on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems while upholding strict OSHA and company safety standards. You'll work on complex lifting projects, maintain detailed service records, support emergency repairs, and benefit from technical training and clear career paths in field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mobile and overhead cranes and lifting equipment at customer and company sites
  • Perform preventative maintenance, load testing, and safety inspections to ensure crane reliability and regulatory compliance
  • Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
  • Document all service work, parts used, and test results accurately in service reports and maintenance systems
  • Collaborate with project teams and operators to plan repairs and minimize equipment downtime
  • Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and fall protection
  • Maintain tools, service vehicles, and test equipment in safe, serviceable condition
  • Provide on-call and emergency crane service support as required by project schedules
