Build Your Skills. Take Pride in the Details. Create Floors That Last.

St. Louis Epoxy Systems is a locally owned epoxy flooring and concrete coating company serving homeowners and businesses throughout the St. Louis metro area. We install garage floor coatings, flake and metallic epoxy systems, concrete overlays, commercial coatings, and other durable surface solutions. Our work is built on careful preparation, quality materials, and close attention to detail. We are growing and looking for someone who wants more than a temporary labor job;

someone ready to learn a skilled trade and grow with the company.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Epoxy Flooring Installer/Technician to join our field team. Prior epoxy flooring experience is welcome but not required; we are prepared to train the right person. You will assist with every stage of the installation process, including jobsite setup, concrete preparation, material handling, coating application, cleanup, and equipment care.

This is a hands-on position that requires physical work, focus, and the ability to follow instructions in a time-sensitive environment. The finished floors may look impressive, but creating them requires careful preparation, repetition, teamwork, and attention to small details. The ideal candidate understands that reality, takes pride in doing the work correctly, and wants to develop into a more skilled and responsible role over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare residential and commercial concrete surfaces for coating installations.
  • Operate concrete grinders, vacuums, and other surface-preparation equipment.
  • Clean concrete, repair cracks, address surface imperfections, and prepare floors for proper adhesion.
  • Measure, mix, transport, and install epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic coating systems.
  • Perform flake broadcasting, backrolling, and other specialized installation techniques.
  • Set up jobsites and protect walls, doors, landscaping, equipment, and surrounding surfaces.
  • Follow company installation procedures and standard operating processes precisely.
  • Work efficiently with materials that have limited working and curing times.
  • Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and installation materials.
  • Keep company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for upcoming projects.
  • Maintain safe, orderly, and professional jobsites throughout each installation.
  • Communicate clearly with crew members and ask questions when instructions are unclear.
  • Treat customers, their homes, and their businesses with professionalism and respect.
  • Complete installations efficiently without compromising safety, preparation, or workmanship.
  • Work extended days or occasional weekends when necessary to complete installations properly.
Qualifications
  • No epoxy flooring experience is required; paid training will be provided.
  • Construction, flooring, concrete, painting, landscaping, warehouse, or other hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Experience using grinders or concrete surface-preparation equipment is helpful but not required.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to arriving prepared for every scheduled workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finished work.
  • Able to follow detailed installation procedures without cutting corners.
  • Coachable, accountable, and willing to accept feedback while learning new skills.
  • Able to remain productive and complete assigned responsibilities without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work in a fast-moving production environment.
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, grinding, and working on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working around dust, noise, chemicals, and powered surface-preparation equipment.
  • Willing to work in hot garages during the summer, cold conditions during the winter, and other changing jobsite environments.
