Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Building Maintenance

Satellite Shelters is seeking a Technician to support our Construction modular building operations within the Technical & Maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, repair, and prepare modular units, including mobile offices and classrooms, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and code requirements. Responsibilities include basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC filter changes, site setup assistance, and troubleshooting customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair modular buildings, including mobile offices and classrooms
• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring repairs
• Assist with minor electrical and plumbing maintenance under guidelines
• Support HVAC filter changes and basic system checks
• Prepare buildings for delivery and return, ensuring cleanliness and safety
• Assist with site setup, tie-downs, and utility connections as directed
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and documentation
• Use hand and power tools, ladders, and equipment safely and correctly
• Troubleshoot and report building issues and recommend repairs
• Maintain accurate work orders, parts usage, and service records
