Do you enjoy bringing arcade games back to life, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and being the person everyone calls when equipment stops working?
VENU+ is seeking a dependable, mechanically skilled Independent Service Contractor to maintain and repair arcade games, mobility scooters, electronic lockers, penny presses, kiosks, and other guest-facing equipment throughout the St. Louis area.
This is not a desk job. You’ll work independently across theme parks, zoos, casinos, malls, museums, and entertainment venues—solving real problems, keeping equipment running, and helping guests get back to having fun.
What You’ll Work On- Arcade games and claw machines
- Mobility scooters and other electric mobility equipment
- Electronic and mechanical lockers
- Penny press and souvenir machines
- Payment kiosks and coin-operated equipment
- Batteries, chargers, lighting, controls, and electrical components
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
- Troubleshoot arcade games, mobility equipment, kiosks, lockers, and related systems.
- Clear coin jams and replace fuses, bulbs, batteries, switches, and other common components.
- Inspect equipment and catch potential problems before they cause downtime.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Clean and maintain equipment to VENU+ and customer standards.
- Complete weekly cash collections, meter readings, and local bank deposits when assigned.
- Record repairs, parts used, meter readings, and service notes through a mobile reporting system.
- Travel between assigned customer locations and represent VENU+ professionally.
- Arcade, amusement, or gaming equipment
- Mobility scooters, golf carts, or other battery-powered equipment
- Vending machines, ATMs, kiosks, or coin-operated devices
- Automotive, small-engine, appliance, or electronics repair
- Facilities, commercial equipment, or field service maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Comfortable working independently and managing service priorities
- Dependable, organized, responsive, and solutions-focused
- Able to support multiple locations across the St. Louis area
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in public environments
- Available for a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Access to your own basic tools is preferred
- Smartphone and comfort using mobile reporting systems

Qualifications- 3+ years of proven experience as a maintenance repair contractor in a similar industry
- Mechanically inclined
- Detail-oriented and ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and on call
- Provides own tools and equipment
