Do you read schematics with confidence, track down elusive faults, and leave machines better than you found them? If that sounds like you, our St. Louis, MO (63110) metals facility is looking for your electromechanical skill set.
- Hourly rate up to $49/hour depending on experience

- Seniority-based scheduling (high likelihood of 12-hour overnights)
A line trips on an electrical fault mid-run. You interpret the schematic, verify circuits, check a pneumatic actuator, confirm a hydraulic pressure setting, and restore operation. Later, you assist with a new equipment install, verify guard interlocks, log your findings, and share ideas to improve reliability. That’s a typical win in this role.
Role Responsibilities- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems to minimize downtime.
- Inspect and test assets to ensure safe, efficient performance.
- Collaborate with peers to enhance equipment reliability and throughput.
- Accurately document repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
- Assist in installing and commissioning new machinery and systems.
- Adhere to safety standards and keep work areas orderly.
- Participate in training to expand your electromechanical expertise.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification preferred.
- Experience as an electromechanical technician or similar maintenance role.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting experience a plus.
- Welding experience preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used for maintenance work.
- Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication.
