Field Service Specialist – St. Louis, MO (Military Transition Pathway)

St. Louis, MO (Remote / Field-Based)

Bring those elite traits to a global organization dedicated to protecting lives and industrial sites. We are hiring a remote Field Service Specialist in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Work Schedule & Travel Details

  • Predictable Deployments: Work a scheduled 10-day on‑call rotation (starting Tuesday and concluding Thursday of the next week) followed by 4 consecutive, uninterrupted days off.
  • Fully Orchestrated Travel: Experience a dynamic mix of local, national, and international travel. All itineraries are fully pre‑planned, booked, and covered by the company.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Compensation: Non‑exempt annual salary of ~$65,000, plus structured pathways for professional raises and promotions.
  • Total Package: Easily reach $80,000+ in your first year through built‑in overtime opportunities, daily travel stipends, and full per‑diem packages.

Your Mission in the Field

  • Deploy to client locations to set up, calibrate, and service specialized equipment.
  • Upgrade field‑installed protection systems to ensure optimal safety performance.
  • Perform advanced electromechanical troubleshooting to resolve system discrepancies.
  • Draft, compile, and submit precise technical reports following each service call.
  • Collaborate with clients, offering clear explanations and superior technical support.

Requirements

  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment.
  • Electrical experience is strongly preferred (ratings like Navy EM, Army 91B, or similar are highly valued).
  • Comfortable with getting hands‑on and dirty on industrial work sites.
