Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The Truck/Building Maintenance Technician plays an integral part in keeping CK Supply's truck fleet and facilities running smoothly and safely. This role includes repairing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on all buildings, vehicles, and equipment.

- Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots electrical-mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors, conveyors, light carpentry, HVAC maintenance, and light plumbing
- Light vehicle maintenance of company passenger vehicles and DOT vehicles
- Fabricates and repairs parts
- Requests needed parts and supplies for inventory levels
- Coordinate needed repairs across all departments and locations
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Snow removal, salting and pre-treatment of company lots during winter weather events
- Work with high pressured filling equipment (LIN, LAR, LOX, and CO2)
- Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation
- Actively participate in identifying safety improvements
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
- Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
- Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vehicle/truck maintenance experience
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic-pneumatic knowledge
- Basic carpentry skills
- Knowledge of 12
VDC and 480 VAC circuitry - Ability to complete basic mathematical equations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and various measurement devices
- Must be proficient in general computer use and comfortable navigating standard desktop applications, including intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
The following is a list of some of the conditions an employee may encounter while working in this position. This list is not all-inclusive.
- All seasons of outdoor weather conditions while performing non-driving duties.
- Work in noisy, loud conditions that at times will require PPE.
- Transport and transfer hazardous materials including but not limited to Liquid CO2.
- Ability to regularly lift 25-50lbs and occasionally lift 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, crouch, and climb throughout the duration of an 8-hour shift
