About the Work
Kitchen Guard provides commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and inspection services that support fire safety, insurance compliance, and regulatory standards for restaurants and commercial kitchens. This is essential safety and compliance work—not janitorial cleaning. Because the work directly affects inspections, insurance, and liability, we operate with defined processes, strict documentation, and zero tolerance for shortcuts.

This is a hands‑on execution role. Technicians clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems to standard, follow checklists, document work accurately, and leave sites clean, compliant, and secure. The role fits reliable, detail‑oriented operators who prefer clear expectations and structured work.
What You Will Do- Clean hoods, ductwork, filters, and rooftop exhaust fans
- Set up and break down pressure washing and containment equipment
- Follow safety procedures and job checklists
- Capture required photos and videos documenting completed work
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment and supplies
- Work as part of a two‑person crew with limited supervision
- Drive a company vehicle as required (valid driver’s license required)
- Overnight work only
- Typical check‑in: 9:30–11:00 PM
- Typical check‑out: 6:00–7:00 AM
- Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week during initial ramp‑up, provided work is completed to standard
- Overtime is variable and not guaranteed
- Climb ladders and access rooftops
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Stand and work on feet for 8–10 hours
- Work in tight or elevated spaces
- Maintain attention to detail during repetitive tasks
- Hood cleaning, pressure washing, or restaurant experience preferred, not required
- Prior night‑shift experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reporting location
- Ability to follow written procedures precisely
- Must pass a background check
- $18–$22 /hour, based on experience
