J.D. Streett & Company, Inc. is a family-owned, local lubricants manufacturer and is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Candidate must be a highly skilled technician that will work out of our oil blending and packaging facility. Position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and monitoring industrial processing and production machinery. This is a mid-level position with exposure to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery.
• Set up packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
• Safely operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools.
• Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers, and specifications.
• Maintain parts and tools inventory.
• Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops, and technical reading.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED. Advanced technical or college training is preferred.
• 2 years minimum of industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Comfortable with computers.
• Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team player and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent safety record.
• Must have reliable transportation and good attendance.

Normal Work Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM
